About The Butchery
Our butchery is a natural extension of the farm guided by a commitment to sustainable, ethical farming. We raise a herd of 90 organic, 100% grass-fed Hereford beef cows. Our four bulls—Hereford, Beef Shorthorn, Beef Stabiliser and Wagyu—add diversity to our herd, which will be reflected in the unique flavour and character of our beef from early 2026.
Our cows play an important role in conservation grazing, helping to care for precious landscapes like the Savernake Forest and Stonebridge Meadow in Marlborough.
In the butchery, we offer meat from our own farm alongside carefully selected produce from other trusted Wiltshire farms. We run a small farm shop stocked with seasonal and local goods—everything you might want to pick up when visiting us.
Throughout the year, we embrace the seasons: bedding plants in summer, Christmas trees in December, and we sell naturally seasoned ash logs, kindling and firelighters for your firesides.
Our farm is also a place to enjoy. Woodland Walkies, our dog-walking paddock, offers a peaceful trail through the woods. In spring, the bluebells and wild garlic are spectacular. We open our woods for walking and host school camps for inner-city children—helping reconnect people with nature.
Whether you’re here for good food, a countryside stroll, or a breath of fresh air, you’re very welcome.
